freeze

occasionally my computer freezes whenever i get a OO flag and drive into a building
nothing responds, i have to restart it :evil: :evil: :evil:
it doesnt happen every time, but it happens every so often
its weird :?

im so rry im not very literate at computer stuff

my internet is wireless dsl w/speedboost thing
low disc computer space yes, but not at the time when it freezes

OS is operating system, most likely Windows XP...

Maybe give a 2.0.5b a try? (in the Releases and Versions forum)

Well, when most people don't know their OS (or what it stands for) they just bought a computer and figure it's the only thing out there, all there is is Windows. Just like the "Blue E" is the Internet to some.

I'm not being mean, I'm just catering to the normal, non-geek person. Please, no one take offense.

Freeze problem Part 2

I am runing Mac OS 10.4.5 and My computer freezes irradically only when i play this game...Is there anything i can do to prevent this (asside from using a windows computer :) )

Anxiety, this is what worked for me. Quit playing for about 9 months then come back and it works great! :) CVSing mite help too.

CVS:

basically a place to download the code of bzflag, it is updated more often the realeased builds of the game.

(you must build it yourself)

no, sorry to get OT here but...

you can get minGW... its free

there are a few others but I don't feel like listing them right now...

You can also use Dev-C++ or Microsoft's Free Visual C++ Express (I am not sure if BZFlag supports the latter, though).
