First Map: Two Fortresses

Post by Purple Panzer, The »

I'm attaching my first map, which I think has some quite unique
attributes; the comments at the top of the map file describe its
design philosophy. I haven't been able to run a server that's visible outside of my LAN, so I've only played it locally; I'd love it if someone would put it up somewhere.

It has two fortresses with different aesthetic styles in two opposing corners; the other two corners are fairly open. In the middle of the map is a sort of town, and a kind of "river of pyramids" divides the map visually.

I'll have a web page up about it shortly, at
http://www-swiss.ai.mit.edu/~bentz/BZFlag/bzflag.html
with screen shots and a more detailed description.

Nice looking map. Very much an enhanced MadCity style design in its goals. Enjoyed driving around. Would love to see a less complex version play opposite MadCity.......any chance you could par some of the features down a bit so everyone could play?
.........you kids, get out of my tank...........
