need some map placement help and info

Post by rob1n »

1. what's the difference with .map files and .bzw? I tried .map files, but it didn't list it in the Start Server menu.

2. where do you put the scripts and other files other than the .bzw files? I'm using mac osx.

Thanks!

That's the default extension for maps made in BZEdit.

the map extenstion dosn't mater when you pass in the map name via the -world paramater on bzfs. it's just a name. some maps don't use extensions.

.map was just what I picked for the editor.
