I'm gonna get into this one.
The only thing different {for mappers} in 2.4 will be per-object ricochet. That's right, you can turn ricochet on and off, per object.
Take a look at my Defender game mode concept.

Thinking is not an automatic process. A man can choose to think or to let his mind stagnate, or he can choose actively to turn against his intelligence, to evade his knowledge, to subvert his reason. If he refuses to think, he courts disaster: he cannot with impunity reject his means of perceiving reality.

You can turn ricochet on per object, but not specifically off. So if you want just a single object to not rico, you have to turn off ricochet globally (don't specify -r in the configuration) and then add the 'ricochet' settings for every object except that one.

You mean horizontal teleporters... No.
Hopefully 2.4.2 will arrive fairly soon after 2.4.0.

Ok...

I probably should clarify... when i say map size 200 x 200 or smaller I mean the code

Code: Select all

world
 size 200 200
end
not 200 units on each side (that would be 100 x 100 (however if you want your map that small feel free))

And what does 2.4.2 have to do with horizontal teleporters? It wouldn't be in that version either, nor any 2.4.x version.
