Map artists! King of the Hill!

Post by TankThis »

Map artists, I need a new Rabbit style map. This map needs gradual platforms (jumps) to get to the top. What would be grand would be a pad or ring where the rabbit got 1 point for every 30 secs in the ring. I dunno if BZFlag supports gradient hills to climb or the ring. This could be done with FFA also. It's kinda like "Bag the Camper".

What do you all think?

as for gradient climbs, not in this version, 1.12 will support small ramp like steps.

tanks do, so long as the steps are small enough, they will "pop" up a level in height.

i dont know yet, since i havent tried to make a map with stairs in it yet. the general hubbub has me believing anything less that 1-2 units.

its probably buried in the code somewhere. tupone or learner might know of the tops of their respective heads.

The controlling parameter is the BZDB
_maxBumpHeight variable. It's current
default setting is 0.33 IIRC.
