Question about hosted texture images

I submitted my textures to be hosted at image.bzflag.org some weeks ago. I know moderation takes time, and in the interim it got me thinking about the other user submitted texture images.

Are these released under a GPL or similar license? Can I use any of the user's images found at http://images.bzflag.org/ in my maps? What are the policies or guidelines on this?

all hosted images are under an open license that allows unrestricted use so yes you can use them. There is a page for each folder that lists the licenses of each image.
