i've always wondered and i was told lots of stuff but none of it worked until i did it myself

Make it in a modeler. That way it'll turn out on your BZMap just how you like it.

It doesnt matter... duh. :roll:

Off the top of my head:

arc
size 10 10 2
position 0 0 0
ratio 0.2
divisions 32
matref whatever
end

That should give you roughly the type of ring Pants has around his sphere.
