Light!

Post by person1 »

You can do lights the same way JeffM2501 did. Simple create a flat box (part of the mesh is better, or group) and have it textured to a light type png.

If this is what you would like (notice the lights) then download the zip and you will find the light texture. (rename it and load it to see white boxes where he places the texture)

Lampost? Did somebody say lampost?

Keep in mind this was the very first object I made with Wings3D. Tell me if you need a better one. 8)

In "object" mode, select the object you want to turn yellow. Click on "face" mode. All the faces of your object should be selected. Right click, and choose "material > new material". Move the sliders to change the color, and OK when you're done. Upa!, your material has been applied.

To change the material color, go into Geometry > Outliner, scroll down to the material name, right-click on it, and choose "edit material...".

Those were from memory, so I might be wrong on some of the specifics.
