How does one get fog to work? I can't seem to get it to work right...

fog is best done through the /set commands whilst in the server. and it will only run on certain servers(2.0.5?-not sure).

I'm running 2.0.4 and with the commands I found it tells me there is no such variable.

It is 2.0.5 only. You need a 2.0.5 server to set the variable and a 2.0.5 client to see the fog itself. 2.0.4 clients won't see fog on a 2.0.5 server but they can still play it.

I'm guessing Tanner runs Windows. Look in the Releases section for the latest Windows beta of 2.0.5. IW, out!

once you are on 2.0.5 you can do:

/set _fogMode 1

then /set _fogDensity 0.005 (usually a good setting)

it says _fogMode and _fogDensity dont exist

Is the server 2.0.5?

Edit: Nope, your server is 2.0.4.

the server has to be 2.0.5, not your client.

ahh. ill see if i can get that changed
