You know how in 2.0.x the team flags look like the normal flags tinted?

and how in 2.1.x the team flags look like this: clicky

Yea, all you have to do is change your picture around in your data folder. It's pretty easy.

Wow really nice. I've always wondered what would happen if i changed the textures in the folder. Here's my answer.

yes it is pretty easy to change the images, but there are almost no purple country flags...
changing the textures in the 2.0.x data folder will not give you this effect. i just wanted to show that in 2.1.x and soon to be 2.2.x all the teams have different team flag colors.

Well not anymore since WZFlag is coming out. I don't like it, personally.

yellow american flag? wth? there of course is no yellow american flag. The only american flag in that pic is the red white and blue one, and iirc that is the only flag representing the USA.

so whats the yellow flag? it looks american. well same opinion. its just well... great!

the yellow flag has purple on it so it's the putple flag. there are only 17 countries with purple on their flags! it was some islands.

People, there is NO WZFlag lol - It was an April Fools joke that the devs played on us. What made it even more believable was that WarZone had it on their site too

The whole joke played out here fooled alot of people - including yours truely

Now if we could only implement downloadable flag images - sort of like how map textures are set up, the server owners could make custom flags and everyone would be able to see them.

You really could make them be anything, like having the league logo on the team flags.

Yes, a welcome feature, however...

I remember my first experience with public BZFlag games. I opened the "Find Server" menu, and there to greet my eyes was a server description with a pornographic text description of their flags. Needless to say, I pressed esc and stuck with private games for a long time until my friend broke me into the public arena again several years later. It's still a good idea, but would need to be done carefully.

Yea I posted that to throw people off. I knew about the joke before most people.
