Hi community,
today when I was bored and couldn't play BZFlag because of a big download (-> lag) I played a bit with Blender options here and there and made a little
BZFlag "logo".
If someone wants to have a rendering with a higher resolution or format, just ask.
Just if someone wants to know, I will fix that light thing in the background soon.
Well, have fun,
patlkil

Looks very good. I especially like the "shadow" effect.

Thanks.
I have another one with an additional spot light.

Instead of making your own BZ model, the official tank model has been exported into .obj format, which can be imported into Blender. See
here.

Oh thanks,
didn't look into the wiki.
Well then, I will upload another version when I fixed the textures.

Good idea!

Here's one I made. (Very inspiring topic.)
Yes, I used Blender 3D. 2.45, in case you want to know.

I'm personally not a big fan of it.
• No Tank Textures
• I'm pretty sure the title can just be BZFlag not B.Z.Flag.
• In bz, when a tank is shot at, the pieces of the tank fly in the air, not stick to the ground =)
This is just my opinion.

but patlkil, I'm really diggin' yours
The only thing I would change if I was in your position is that like
F687/s said before, you can use the tank model that's in .obj format, which can be imported into Blender.
