Experimental mode now removes the ground grid and increases many of the graphical constants to be more in line with the capabilites of current 3d hardware.

There are more changes planed, but the will be done after 1.10.4 is released.

all i have to say is "WOW!!!" very nice, i love the new textures! have waited years to see this, and it is even better than i could have imagined!

The bases remember me an old movie "Tron"
May I suggest you an idea if is possible....
every team base with a different logo.

that is supported now, I just could not come up with logo Ideas that everyone would like.

I would love to see sugestions tho..

And yes the plan is to be able to get a release out by this weekend. http://www.bzflag.org/wiki/BetaImages has links to the current beta builds

i love it i just played it last night, the only bug i really noticed was the "much" bug.....lol
everytime someone says "much" it shows up as a cuss word, lol. but overall i love it! can't wait for 1.10.4 =D

i alwayz did think of it in dat way , maybee dats y i like to play red an blu team usually , cuz fire an water r both my astrology sign elements :)
an da fifth element actually iz wood... so a tree symbol for rogues wouldnt b too far off :)

Are we talking about the Chinese elements or the classical Western elements? If I'm correct, the Western elements are Fire, Water, Earth, and Air, and the Chinese elements are Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, and Water. So, either I'm screwed up, or somebody else is :-)

from both western an eastern astrology.. (i considered da metal element as similiar to da earth element so i jus combined it , since metal comes from da earth...)

im not tryin 2 get too deep into dis stuff ykno , heh .
jus lookin 4 a source of inspiration 4 dis idea :P

Rebel Chikorita...your designs about fire and water, they can be confused because on top op the map are similar.
And dont still my idea there is a © and ®. :D

da triangles r for da team flags . i agree if they were for da bases it would b kinda confusin dependin on how ur tank was oriented...

i like da present base design... itz clean an looks good . plz letz not get too fancy ;)

sadly I can't do per team textured flags, not yet, not till 1.11.

Flag models are done all funky, it has to be the same texture for all flags, all I can change is the color.
