how do you do a screenshot? and how do you make it save to your HD??

depends what OS you use. I use the trusty (or crusty, depends who you are) import command from the imagemagick proggy (linux). I think Patlabor uses the Alt+PrintScreen technique for windows.

But then he uploads them as PNG's and they're too big for my little pipe :-(

As least I'm following CVS myself :-)

eesh, sounds complicated....heh

i tried the alt+print screen thing but it seemed nothing happened. Im currently using win98.

it could just be printscreen -- I have no real idea, as I haven't used the winders in a looooooooooong time :)

Windows...hit printscreen btn
open a "paint program"
Start /programs/accessories/Paint..but you can you every programs like photoshop...open a new document and paste (under edit) your print screen

Suggestion: use IrfanView (www.irfanview.com), slim, free and powerful enough :)

bzflag now supports screen shots as of 1.10.3, just hit F7

is this a Windows thing or what? F7 in 1.10.3 (linux) "appears" to do nothing - might be saving a screenshot somewhere on my system, just not telling me where it is. Nothing happens to indicate it is taking a screenshot though.

defman try f5

look in ~/.bzf/config see what it is set too.

mine is bound to f5 and leaves files like bzfi0000.png when pressed.
