A logo, or something like that

Post by fox in the fog »

Friday I was bored, and so I enjoyed building a wallpaper of BZFlag with Gimp. I don't know what it looks like and if is nice, but... What do you think? :P

Holy crap. Before I even scrolled down to look at your post, the first thing that popped into my head was litteraly, "meh".

WIERD!

Aside from my psychic abilities, I guess it is ... "meh". Why? It's just not visually attractive.

The font is all wrong. Maybe add a tank? Less of the messy stuff behind the words.

Clean and simple is the best way to go.

Well, I think for me it is absolutely different, however "Il mondo è bello perché è vario" = Search on the net what I mean with these words (is Italian)

I think it looks nice, I like the sound wave style, but i suggest not putting ".org" in it and adding a few tanks (maybe with Optic Delusion's Electric Skins?)

Constitution... are you ask me how I have realised the "electrifying" effect? Or I got it wrong? :D
Thanks Sniper752 I will try to add some tank of Optic Delusion (can I do this?? Where Can I find the Optic Delusion's tanks) and remove ".org" But I don't know if is going to be more great...and easy :P

I don't personally like Optic's skins nor think they would look good in this case.

If you're not using the default textures, at least use Winny's: http://static.bzextreme.com/winny-bzflag-textures.zip

If your downloads aren't going to your downloads folder, then you need to figure out where they are going instead. To use these textures, you would have to replace the standard textures with these ones... if you use the bzflag from the Ubuntu repo, they should be in /usr/share/bzflag iirc. Otherwise, you should know where the data directory is if you installed it yourself.
