it has been happening at random times when i play bzflag, anyone else have it or is it supposed to be like this. (i actually think its kind of cool, but not for bzflag)

This laser look is really interesting. I think it's a good idea for the next artwork refresh.

Btw, I've played 1.10 and I liked gm's trail there.

UPD: It seems like laser uses rouge tank texture.

Tried to set tank textures for lasers:

Makes it look more like some kind of particle beam rather than a laser. Really kewl!

Which is now giving me a vague idea for a flag...

and i used tank tex but for rouge it just a white laser: why?

If you're asking if it will mess up servers that reference the local textures, then yes, it will mess those up if you rename/overwrite your local textures.

But they will still work, just using the textures that you replaced the stock ones with...

He asked if it would cause troubles, not if it would work.

Right... I was just anticipating his next question. He would test it and it would still work. He would then tell us we were wrong, but not really understanding the limitations of his original question. Since english is not his primary language vocabulary choices that he has available sometimes cause questions to not be as precise as they sound.
