bzflag visualisation

Hello all, I've recently decided to try and make bzflag prettier in 3d software. Here is my result.

Original game reference screenshot (2 screenies glued in 1):

It looks good. Was that created in a 3D modeler or something similar, or using actual real-time rendering?

That would not be hard to do in real-time with a proper 3d engine.

Thanks for the replies.
The image wasn't rendered in real-time.. unfortunately. I used Blender for it, if someone is interested.
