I coluldnt get any where near that score! and if you look in the player list no one else could even get half that score

if you go to my.bzflag.org then it shows all of the player stats, but that is a pretty good score!

That was on Secretplace, the night(/morning

) hundreds of people from slashdot descended on bzflag.

I could never get anywhere near that under normal circumstances though.

I had the scores list turned off because there were so many people it covered up too much of the screen.

I made it up to 750 or so and bzflag crashed

I've had that happen a little to often with the new versions, although I don't know if it's caused by my frequent alt-tabbing or bad code. I was going to go for 1000, but alas, the crash; there's no way I'm starting from 0 again.

Whoever got 1002, very impressive! How long did it take you? I played for about 4-5 hours to get to 725. The server was 5 shots, superflags (50 shots each), no bad flags. Also, there was rogue genocide (if a rogue with genocide shoots himself or another rogue, all rogues die, but the rogue who shot gets the genocide kills). This is actually a hindrance to high score, as you can't hold onto a superflag for long. Every minute or so, you die to rogue genocide and restart.

And Baron: Yes, I've been playing some jumping servers in the last week or so. If I'm on, I'll look you up. Where are you usually?

P.S. I've been playing as "Hero", although it's unregistered.

Oh, does anyone know the high score record for ducati CTF? Non-bot, of course.

I might have a go at breaking that if it's reasonable.

It took me 6.5 hours to get that score. It was on a 10 shot jumping rico superflag server. This was before wings however.
