Huge Negative Score...

While my ISP had pulled the plug on my DSL without notifying me I got bored... so during the <strike>20</strike> 30 (made a big mistake in my math) hours or so of no internet I fired up BZFS and BZFlag with ~100 bots. I set the shockwave really huge and set it on auto-pilot. After letting it sit for an hour or so my huge score turns negative!!

The third screenie (bzfi0003) is it of a big score, but it wasn't before it turned negative - I never let it go that long, it was a screenie of yesterday's boredome (the first one is from today). Around 1000 points is actual work from me, the rest is due to insanely big SWs. ;)

P.S.: Good thing this was a private server (and I had no internet) - otherwise my low score on BZFlag stats would be insane.

The negative score happened in about an hour. It was 20 shots so reload was not a problem and I put it on auto-pilot. It took care of the rest with insanely big SWs. :)

The positive score of 10000+ is really only ~1000 "real points". The rest are done by big SWs. To get to 1000 took about ~2 hours.

After all, they were only stupid bots. ;)

i once set up a random map rabbit with all flags shock wave and made them so that they stayed for ages and were massive and what i did was to draw a circle around me and then sit there waiting for the bots to come towards me straight in to the giant shpck waves and i couldnt be killed by them because there were mine lol

My scorew was still no where near that...

What kind of CPU do you have that could support the load of 100 stupid bots thinking of nothing but doughnuts and coffee? Oh wait, those are cops, my bad. :wink:

I have a 2GHz G5 and a ATI Radeon 9600 128MB. Even with that power I'm sure my CPU was maxed out and while they were dropping I would get 5FPS max. I got more if I let them respawn on the ground. :)

ohhh i have dont this making tons of bots. then leave my orig one on autopilot allday came back and i had a huge score. not negitave. it was awsome
