A. I agree with JeffM2501
B. That looks (moderatley) like a park I was in in San Diego.
(It's that realistic!)
C.Wow

I never make stupid mistakes. Only very, very clever ones.
It is not the fall that kills you. It's the sudden stop at the end.

Yea, I dont feel this one. It's pretty and all but its just way too easy for me, and I'm not trying to brag. Its way too easy for me to camp.

I didn't like to reply at 3AM this morning - I didn't want to risk making a fool of myself if it was faked.
Yet, I see now that, as ever, Louman has shown us why he is a legend.
Three cheers for Louman! :)

How does he do it?!!

actually there is one thing..... how does he make underground passages, without there looking like there is a box there on the radar. his radar seems clear, yet there is a mesh there....

Do you mean the mesh you fall through to get into the tunnel?
Or the tunnel itself?

Very nice map. Although for some reason when I played it, the team I was on spawned at the enemy team's base. Which was really strange and confusing...

The map is made like that, it's a kind of assault type map. You start with

the enemie flag and you have to bring it to your base (where your

enemies spawn). I asked the same question yesterday to Louman when I

was playing his map. I think it a good idea :)

Hmm, maybe it should say that in the messages.

But when your flag is captured, all of them can kill you at "your" base.

he has tunnels 'underground'. but the 'ground' mesh dosn't show up on the radar.... i wonder how he acheives it.

I didn't really like this one much when I was playing yesterday, but it was more because there were so many people on and it was geting extremely crazy.

However, I was just playing there a few minutes ago, and I gotta say...gameplay there pwns. Very fun, just not a map to be on when it's crowded.

Perhaps Louman could do something like a big sw in the castle with no

point penality. Just to clear the castle of everybody to let you spawn after

your flag has been captured.

I have something else to ask... Why does the normal radar is all red??? I

prefer the normal radar then the advanced one but the normal seem all

colored and it's hard to use it properly cause it mess me up(you can see

it in one of my screen shot in a previous post of this topic, if screen

shots are not there, wait for tonight, they are gonna be there)

Try this:

Code: Select all

meshbox
  noradar
end
The noshadow option is similar, but the object won't cast shadows - good for water and tunnels where the stipple all over looks ugly. I use both options for water.

Ah, brilliant. Which versions does this apply to, 2.0.4 or .5?
