It's easy if you've been to it b4, No it is not just seom grass meeting a wall, it's a custom texture that would be easily recognizeable if you've been to the map before

I convinced someone on a certain server (easy to guess which one) to do set something...
here's an example of why NOT, as an admin, to type in /set _drawSky 0
if you have an nvidia card, (mine is a 7600gt and i got this glitch) it will royally screw over the graphics in the sky area. Same will happen if you do /set _drawGround 0, only in the ground area
