How would you rate yourself on a scale of 1-10 at playing bzflag?

I would rate myself maybe a 4 or 5 out of 10

And no bad mouthing other players!

mmm... well..that all depends on where im playing. i think that im about same as plokijuy 4 or 5
but i have my good and bad days

Some places maby i'de be a 5 or 4 , but at laser sniping places and wings wars maby a 8 or 9
(hope I didnt sound stuck up )
I suppose it differs on what you'de classify a 0 and a 10.

Perhaps a better indication of skill would be to have the next person to post rate you, and the person after rate them, and so on...

And let's be careful with these survey threads like JeffM is so adamant about...

Anyway, to start... Peter: I haven't seen you play a whole lot, but from what I have seen I guess I'd agree with about 4 or 5 on the mainstream maps.

0 being the worst player 10 being the best, this is just an honest truthful rating of yourself

To many variables to rate myself. It all depends on the map, how i'm feeling, and who else is on.

on a Gu server... i would rate myself 3

Right now....(gosh this is to opinionative)... i would rate myself 7.5 in between average and really good. (feel free to correct me if you think otherwise. )

I think that this depends almost entirely on the map. There are several high speed sniper maps on which I can easily get a nine. On pillbox, I'm more of a three or four. On the old Silvercat overlord? Giving me a zero would be a compliment.

Of course, when it comes to CTF, how well you play depends directly upon how well your teammates play, and so it would vary enormously anyway.

Just my opinion.

Hannibal , I dont think I have EVER played with you , you can't rate me if you havn't played with me, I think you only gave CBG an 11.28 and me a -3 just to get at me for some reason , anyway , maby this question should have a poll?

My rating depends on if I woke up on the right side of the bed, then I subtract the average number of idiots per 10 customers at work. And then, I subtract an arbitrary measurement of how painful the "bambinos" (high school kids) made the day.

Today, my rating was around -20.

Im probably 2-3, 4 on a really good day.

It really depends. It's something really low anyway. Maybe 3.14. I wouldn't be surprised if it's in the vicinity thereof.

It depends on which server. Also some times I have bad days. But overall I would rate myself a 5-6! Any1 disagree? Should I be lower or higher?

Obviously it depends on the map and how focused you are, plus maybe who else is playing with you. On a normal day at borrego I'm 8-9, but if I am playing some of the best players, maybe a 3?

It's quite funny to try the following:

Play a different map (preferably with different jumping / teleport settings than you're used to), with the server somewhere else in the world so your latency is way off normal, on a different computer, with a different OS, with a different mouse sensitivity and a different monitor. All of a sudden, you're not a nublet, you're a horrible, horrible player as you *know* how to dodge, you just suddenly mistime everything by just enough to get yourself (or a teammate) killed. :-)

I rate myself 7.85 in dodging slow bullets, a 9.35 in accuracy when my target is right in front of me, a 9.54 in winning when my teamates are real good, and a 9.789 in the category of humility.

Oh yeah, also my sarcasm rating is currently on the rise.
