leagues

Post by learner »

Yes, though in BZFlag they're called league teams instead of clans. There are a couple of leagues that run tournaments and competitions, most notably the CTF league that play Ducati-style: http://league.bzflag.org/ Some teams are open to new memberships, some require invitation or other criteria. You can generally get in touch with people on those teams and they can help you get started.

Welcome to the game!

The most active league in BZFlag is the "GU league". They're playing on HIX map with ricochets and jumps, duration of matches is 30 minutes. The game mode for most leagues is CTF (capture the flag).

Don't wonder when the long time players beat newbies very easily. This is regardless of what league.

No "league" was ever called a "clan" as far as I am aware, that would have been odd.

A league is like a group of teams, but a clan is more like a single team, I think :D

Post by slon02 »

No wait.. you're right. There are leagues but a few* (very few) teams have called themselves clans. Only around 3 or 4 did this though.

Yes There are, I've sen many websites that advertise clans,
Not many people have heard about these though, most people just call them leugues :D
