Boxy War for me. For about 2 months, I though it was BZFlag.

Spiralzone, under an unregistered callsign.

My score was 1-65, and I wasn't having much fun, but for some reason, I liked it.

I also tried two castles first. I got killed too much, so I tried other servers. My friend told me that Badgerking's was the best, so I started playing there almost exclusively. I still kind of agree with him

Towers is the first I remember, we brought it back for a while a little bit this year, but it is gone again.... on norang of course

As far as I can remember, the first map I ever joined was a map that looked like a castle. It only had two players on at the time other than me, and i've never come across it since.

I remember getting myself stuck on autopilot, and not being able to un-auto myself.

My first time was on a map called "mario", no idea where that went though

First place I ever played was um... some pillbox way back in the times of 1.10.8... i think it was like... kninja.bz.com or something.
First place I played as Albino Blacksheep was Boxy Wars

My first map was a well-populated Two Castles, and then I went on to a Pillbox map. Eventually I learned that the lesser-populated maps are more fun (and I still do).

The first server i ever played on was viper.pimpi.org, thats the server i play most on, the only server i have privs on and the last server i played on earlier today.

Overlord or Babel, as I recall. Silvercat was such a cool-sounding name.

Same, only I gave up after getting -20. But something compelled me to try again... and again...and again. Now I can't stop. I believe Das_bender said he was still hosting it..

Vipers Two Castles

Its the stuff that went down on there that made me decide to up and create my own server.

Consequentially, I recently decided to re-host the 1.x version of that map. Why? Its still one of my (personal) favorites. I'm not such a big fan of their 2.0 map. The corner cakes are a pain to navigate, and I hate dying in the moat. That, and I always wanted to put a MoFo spin on it. To check it out, join Planet MoFo, then change the port to 4666.

My first map was Two Tanks 2, referred to me by XLR8. (Or, back then was XLR8N) I had somewhere around 5-80 for my k/d's. xD

Wow, seems like a lot of players did Viper's Two Castles map first. I played there first and found it to be fun

I hung out on Boxy at first, then found two castles, and played there the most, then two tanks came out and it was my favorite, then "The Compound" arrived and it is still officially my favorite (L4m3r- where is it- I and many others absolutly loved that map)

hmmm well ive played bzflag for around 4 years now - only registered recently. Umm, first map i played was planet mofo. unlike peter though i cant remember where i spawned

UPDATE: ahhh, i even remember that wen i first started playing bzflag, for the first week i didnt even know how to make the tank jump. thought u had to hav sum special flag even still...i vertually always managed to keep my score in the +

boxy was mine, I remember being down to -50ish my first time. Boxy was always a bloodbath for noobs
