From the Hitchhiker's Guide? I say babe-ell, but being a fish that when you stick it up your ear feeds off brainwaves and translates any language for you, it could very well be babb-ull.

Guess it depends on the dialect . I've always said BAB-ull, as in "The Tower of Babel" or the word "Babble".Amoeba wrote:From the Hitchhiker's Guide? Re: How do you pronounce callsigns?
So I stumbled upon this old thread that I started a while ago; since then I've changed my callsign and there are several new players. So add your own pronunciation to your callsign. For mine, it's "ah-ye-ho" as Constitution always properly pronounces it. To hear it, use Google translate's spanish pronunciation, this is actually how you pronounce it.

ZE BOZZ is pretty simple to pronounce, just substitute the "s" for a "z"
I have had trouble pronouncing Leibniz. I don't think he plays anymore, unless he plays under another callsign; but I always had fun trying to say his name. Is it leeb - knees ? lib - niz ? lee - be - nize?
I normally pronounced it leeb - knees.

It seems I've been pronouncing it correctly then! The spelling makes it a bit confusing at first.jhs wrote:jhs is pretty easy... you pronounce it, "oh-mi-tee-one" or sometimes "awe-sum"
of course, old friends pronounce it with a p and a T.
