Temp has made a memorial billboard that will go up at least on Two Tanks.

When I joined Two Tanks earlier today I noticed a texture download and checked if I had the right map, so I joined and I instantly noticed the remembrance billboard. It looks amazing and is in what I think to be a great spot for it, easy to see and it doesn't drop frame rate during the actual game. Well, done temp, you did an excellent job.

Now, everytime I see that wonderful billboard, I realize that not everyone is guaranteed another day of life. It makes you think that anything is possible in our world. I hope that seeing this billboard reminds us all to love each other and pray to live another beautiful day...

God Bless Alice, her family, and the BZFlag community. May we all share the same love Alice gave us...

In recent days I have rarely played a BZFlag and also I am not very sociable (I understand English but are not trained to speak). Only today I realized what had happened!

I regret so much, only eighteen years ...

I haven't seen her often on BZFlag so I don't really know her yet I want to show my sympathy.
And Temporal Distraction, you've made a really nice billboard! She would smile in heaven. She will always be in our memories and be watching us on bzflag :)

:rip: Alice D!

Alice D was a great girl, she was always making you happy and she was totally mature. I knew her in real life, she was my girlfriend for 8 months, i'll never forget her. She's a hero, in BZFlag, but in real life too. She fought the illness as strong as she was able to, she never gave up. She really knew what life is like we'll never know.
Alice D invite us to think about our lives and about this illness : Cystic Fibrosis

I'll miss you Alice and you'll stay in my heart forever,

Thank you for all your messages. But the billboards (on mofo and 2tanks) were a bad idea. So i have requested to remove them. Thank you for all the nice words you wrote.

Why are the billboards a bad idea? I thought it would be a nice thing to do, so everyone remembers Alice D

I dont really need to explain. But I can only tell that WE (her familly) would prefer the billboard to be removed. I am sure that you dont need it to remember her.

Btw, i want to thank with all my heart the so great job that Temporal distraction did. I hope that he knows how much Alice loved him ...

Billboards on a place made for game and fun is not a good place for keeping her memory. Rather, I would suggest to use the picture of the billboard on this thread...and on her myspace page maybe?
