I like to listen to electronic (I don't mean like electronic music devices I mean the kind of music... You know what mean right?). I found that listening to fast cool sounding music helps my score but soft sounding music usually makes me fall asleep on my keyboard .

I usually dont listen to anything. Yet when i do, i listen to From the Inside by Linkin Park. Great band & great song. What ive Done is also very good

Radio Paradise, an internet radio station with no commercials - radioparadise.com or something. Nice variety, and the constant music increases mental flow. No cost to it, nor any signup or anything.

Anyways I listen to eminem, skillet (monster-good song), roy jones jr. (can't be touched-better song), then linkoln park, wiz khafilia, nelly, trick daddy, ect.

I either listen to Lartoven's trombone sympony No.4, or Betoveens 5th in Kazzo.

I listen ( in rare occasion to Beatles, Rolling Stones, Electrics Prunes, Plain White T's, Nirvana, Spin Doctors, Yes, Spirit). Many times I listen to Jimi Hendrix, Pink Floyd, Jethro Tull, Genesis; Hot Tuna, Who, Colosseum, Doors, Eric Clapton, Led Zeppelin, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Quicksilver messanger service, Santana, Frank Zappa, U2, Elliott Smith, king Crimson, Gentle Giant, Caravan, Green Day and... Maybe stop,

If I listen to stuff, it is usually WZMR (World Zelda Music Radio) or any Legend of Zelda music and remixes. It has some pretty awesome themes.

I like Oldies, but especially disco when playing BZFlag, the strong beat helps get me into a good rhythm for dodging. BTW, I see your avatar there, Mark, whats your PSN name for GT5? Mine is Mopar_Madman, I don't play GT5 much, but I do from time to time.

I've even listened to classical music while playing, lol.

My taste in music encompasses a variety of styles. I've always been oriented more towards hard rock and metal of different styles (but prog is my favorite), but I've been opening up lately to a bunch of different genres like classic rock, punk, blues, jazz, classical, electronica and old school/underground hip hop and rap. Still steadily expanding my tastes even further, but generally for BZ I like listening to something intense and preferably heavy to make me feel like a badass, though I have tons of music in iTunes that I have yet to listen to, and it's always growing, so lately I've just been trying to break that in as much as possible. But I've also noticed that when I'm playing from the dorm and using the crappy internet service we have here, running iTunes as well can make my connection worse and cause me to get kicked off of some servers because of the lag/jitter/packetloss it's constantly warning me about. So sometimes I have to go without music, but I much prefer to have it there.

Oh, and I found out today just how perfect Slayer is for Apocalypse in Action. \m/

Avicii, Deadmau5, Skrillex, Lil Wayne, Drake, my own music, and more... I really like all music, but those I prefer.

I just play my iTunes the entire time. Filled with mostly alternative music and country. Stuff like Mumford and Suns, American Authors, etc.

Listening to a good song helps me relax when I just got owned and die multiple times

Nothing, to be honest.
The in-game sound plays a huge role if you want to be one of the best on flagged maps, especially if you're against a ST user... (shots fired, or ever better, jumps and teleport passes are heard clearly, as well as their direction)

I agree with Sub. But sometimes when I'm in the mood I'll listen to some salsa or some movie soundtracks. (Braveheart, Last Samurai, Lord of the Rings and etc) Stuff like that really gets me psyched up and keeps me more "in the game" and alert. The stimulation really helps my reaction times.

But of course there are those days in which I won't listen to anything other than the sounds of the game.
