Some years ago (1999 or 2000 i think) i guess i played bz flag only once with some friends on a LAN. 2006 i dug it out when i searched something to test the stability of my new DSL. Actually i had planned to test only for five minutes, but whatever...i am still testing :D

I first found this one tank battle game on a different site. The graphics were better, but the gameplay was nowhere near what you get from bzflag. Anyway, I wanted to find a better tank battle game, and eventually I just came across this. I was pretty pleased.

I did not find the game; the game found me.

But really, just searching on SF.net and found this. I thought you needed to know people to play it, so I did not get it right away. Then I thought I might as well try it since it was on the high ranks on SF.net, and then realised there was a server list. No friends needed! Awesome, I thought...and here I am years later.

Umm, I forget, but I think it was a top 10 list to start your day form somewhere, and, of corse I ended up getting it from sourceforge.

Ah Bolo... I used to play that game. :) Great fun. It was really popular for a long time, too.
