I found it on a Linux system about 7 years ago. I didn't started playing it until we got the internet and then I was unleashed.

My dad just got this brand new computer. He was all excited to put on some new programs... He goes to this open source site, and reads about bzflag. He downloads it and shows it to my brother. My brother was bored of it in a week. My brother showed it to me, and I've been playing it since like, 5th grade. It's sorta ironic how this happens. My dad just recently made me get rid of BZ off of the computer because it is screwing up the computer. I can only play on laptops at my dad's work now. xD

Ratfink bugged me until I started playing

One of the kids in my 2nd hour class had it on a z drive and we started playing it on a lan network together. I then went home and downloaded it, and here i am.

Well, normally I hated PC-games... but, as I tried out my Linux-distri, I found bzflag in the respority, played it and since then I'm addicted. Its fun and never boring...

I was looking for good Linux games, and some how found this one.

I found it googling: "good multiplayer 3D game" and it came up with this

I found BZFlag when the Pardus dev's set up some public game servers of games they played. Looking for something different I tried them. This was the only one of them that worked

I found BZFlag when I was browsing in Sourceforge. I think I found it in December of 2004 when I was looking for a Multiplayer simulation game.

there were some guys playing it and it lookeeed like fun so I went home and downloaded it!!!

My friend david kept on texting me a download link for a stupid game call bz something. I ignored for about a month cause he said it was a 3d tank shooter. then i finally downloaded it and now i am forcing him to get on and play

Well i first got into it at the age of 10 or so when BZflag 1.10 was in vogue. Then I played for a year or so with just bots on a LAN network that my dad set up. Then we found you could do internet and i was hooked until i was 13 or so. Then 4 years later i just got back to it! Version 2 is more awesome then 1 i think

And v3 will be way more awesome than v2.

I went to a Tech camp, and when they were talking about networking. BZFlag was their example. And they game everyone the installation file for it.
