and shopping sites, and email sites, and we aren't allowed to download anything if it isn't for a school project. we can't even right click anymore!!! we can't have a background, nor a screensaver, and we can't edit those anyway, even if we did have right click, because we aren't allowed to. They even removed the crappy games in the start menu!!! and even when we are allow to play games (ie: after school) we can't! cuz they're all blocked and/or deleted! Sucks, right?

That sounds reasonable. It's their hardware. It's their Internet connection. They want you to use it for educational purposes. You are not there to play games. You are there to learn and read books and take tests.

i found it on a list of free games on Wikipedia. Turns out people have been compiling tons of lists, from free FPS's to free MMO's. If you're looking for free games ,they got a bunch there.

I 1st found it when I installed Linux (can't remeber which version though :) ) on my computer about 4 years ago, I was totally addicted to it then that I had to have a break for about a year and a half, but i started again half way through 2005.

I found bz in a packet of free downloads from the Apple web site. (note: someone needs to update that packet, it hold 2.0.4 in it.)

My friends and I used to play a lot in school, mostly during our A-Level computing classes (we always sat with computers facing the teacher so he couldn't see ;)). Although we would only play on local servers, and I don't think any of my friends play anymore, I started played online, and I guess I just got addicted :roll:!

My brother installed linux and played for a couple of years on bzf and then quited it (dunno why) he said somthing about there being no fun in playing with players who will do anything to win (?)!

When my dad installed Fedora 5, he went to the "extras" repository and found BZflag in the games list. :D

My dad downloaded it with fedora core
