Seems like 90% of the people posting here is addicted to this game (like me) and also there are many players who are nice and fun to talk to, like llrr and his bzchat, and I learn new things and I need a challenge.

BZFlag works on old-end machines as well as new, so I can play on a Y2K Fedora 4 server with Bzflag 2.0.0 (Jurassicly old). Plus, bzflag has a good community.

I play bz for two main reasons: the community (friends) and the challenge of maps and all-around code.

1) No online community can beat that of bzflag. Friends make this game happen.

2) Being a middle-schooler, I wanted to involve myself in computers. No game has ever taught me more.

Thanks to all my bzbuddies and of course the devs.

It's easy to play but hard to master, infintely varied and those flags are very ADDICTING. You always think 'if I can get that SW/L/GM one more time....'

Yeah, I'm definently addicted :)

Mainly because of the GU League, and also my own personal will to get better. The community is okay as well.. :)

Cause its easy to start playing, but there's always more to learn. No mattered how many times you die you always respawn and I'm addicted.

I'm also addicted to t*tris

I play because of all the possibilities. You can just play, you can make maps, you can help with programming (if, of course, you can program), And you can chat... great times.

I probably agree with what everyone else in this topic has said.

Because it's free, awesome, has a great community, and nice people. I also get to kick the butts of real people who are on the other team.

It's free and you don't need a supercomputer to run it. Plus, it's flexible - you can play CTF for an hour or just drop in for a quick 5 minute blast. Fun times all round :D

I was introduced to BZ Flag about two months ago. Now my Wii is getting dusty. It truly beats my favorite Wii game, Linksys Crossbow training (which is straight shoot at game, all 27 of them). I can't stop, help me, no don't help me... it is the best stress reliever! I'm addicted now too... I have improved to be better than the person who introduced me to the game, and they get pissy about it. It's funny. I love the variety of maps, each having challenges to a particular skill. Jelly's fun house is the latest challenge (only to ice room so far). I love LouMan's beautiful maps, they are art! I like that you can be solo, free for all, team in a CTF, or all go after a whacky wabbit, favorite wabbit map is nightmares map. The variety is amazing, and all the flags require different skills too. So, it is the best game EVER!!! Coming from an adult who started off on those ancient atari games with the two pong paddles....ha ha ha....

It's free. Tbh I'd leave for another free game. It's way above average, which is why I'm still here.

Now you know how to get rid of me :P
