How do you do the server log out messge. Like when someones logs out sometimes the server says "person" has logged out and then shows some personal message.

"/part bye" Gives a "Player X has Left ("bye")"

"bye" can be replaced with whatever you wish..

using /quit does the same..auto-quits the client, and says Player X has quit, instead of left.

/me <action>

For example in my case, if I typed "/me squashes lemons" it would display "Spazzy McGee squashes lemons".

So if you typed "/me is going to eat the squashed lemons" it would say "Grace F is going to eat the squashed lemons".

You can also use the /say command, on certain servers.

You might also find /? useful

as it gives a list of the most common commands.

BTW, where can I find the commands that you can give to a server, like th ones enumerated here, in list form? I remember one server where, in order to pick up a flag, you had to type something into the /server area.

In game you can type /? for a list of commands, and then stuff like /ban? for more detail on commands starting with "/ban".
