Hi,

this forum is for people who are new to the hix map and need some help on how other tanks kill them from the other side of the wall or how they hit you from underneath you. so if you have some tactics or tricks to tell others about...if u want plz post it

You can strife then land, if you jump and turn just not touching one side, just before you come to the corner. People do a lot of bouncing, but I can't do it well yet.

There's a whole forum (and this is a thread btw) for gu league discussion.

It can be pretty hard to explain the more complicated gu tactics on the forums, the best way to learn them is to play games, or watch veterans matching.

also many "hix tactics" also work on other maps, so they're not really map specific, for example pyra ricos are gonna hit people above you in a certain direction on any map, and flag grabbing through the wall is possible on all maps etc. most of the times it's just about using ricos, lots of angles etc you could actually think about it yourself, otherwise it's just practise and watch others.

I used to get with a friend that is a veteran, and we would work together to show each other tricks we knew, or find new ones.

its best to practice either by yourself or with a friend.

Play, play, play. If you want to get better (and if you want to annoy your parents) play bzflag a lot.
