Do you mean how to climb pyramids; move forward or backward while jumping from the pyramid?

You can climb pyramids whenever the _noClimb server variable is set to 0 (the default is 1).

Code: Select all

-set _noClimb 0
If, however, you are referring to a technique of jumping on an above platform on a map that does not allow climbing, such as hix, then the process involves turning as you jump, rather than moving forward or backward. You jump on the pyramid from the ground, and have to land just at the right distance from the above platform. Then, as you jump, you turn, showing your tank's sides to the platform as you pass it upward. As you begin to fall down, however, either your front or the back (the longer part of the tank) is in the height level with the platform, resulting in you landing on it.

It is a technique that comes with practice, but essentially, it utilizes the uneven length and width of the tank.

While I am not good at yet, I am very happy to report I have done it at least once. :)

Thank you both of you, for the text and the video.
