)I mostly play on an internal server at work during lunch (we are up to 14 players now!) , so I wouldn't try this out in the wild, but I see the TH flag in HTR as kind of a wildcard flag. Something like "take your pick of whatever flag everyone else has". That makes it almost a decent flag (besides its use for killing BU). The others here at work seem to feel the same way, although a few of us also add "If you steal a good flag from me, you better run"
All in good fun. I even occasionally turn up the _thiefAdLife (or whatever) allowing flag stealing from almost across the map. That was actually pretty popular.However out in the public servers there is no way of knowing how everyone else feels about it so it's probably best to play it safe and not team thief. (just my $.02)
