Does anyone know where i can download the oldest bzflag

i would like to check out the oldest downloadable bzflag but i do not know where to find it. any suggestions?

Sourceforge has all of the releases of the open-source version. However, I can't recall if the oldest one even works in XP. I think it wouldn't launch a server when I checked.

sourceforge goes back to 1.7c... I dont know where to find an older version. If you manage to dig out something more ancient, let us know. I would like to try it, too.

I can offer down to 1.7b for Linux and to 1.5a for Irix...found them in the net some day :D

too bad that Windows releases came up much later

EDIT: ok, the second one is rather useless, and you can get it on SF anyway.

I dont think anyone has lower than 1.7c - it was the original developers first release. Or at least public release.

There exists no older Windows client as far as I know.

For IRIX:
- IRIX_5.3-6.4---bzflag1.5a.tardist
- IRIX_5.3-6.4---bzflag1.6a.tardist
- IRIX_5.3-6.5---bzflag1.7b.tardist

For Linux:
- LINUXi386---bzflag1.7b.tgz

Note, that I didn't test these releases. I just found them on my hd in my old BZ folder.
