2.0.4 was just released, it was the last build we did.

some changes and fixes are being made in the 2.0.5 maintance build line. When they are stable somone will build a 2.0.5 Alpha1 or something. When all the fixes are done, if they are deteremened to be important enough, they will be made into a 2.0.6 release.

It takes time to make enough improvements to make a release worthwhile.
By what I hear on IRC, the 3.x protocol will come fairly soon. 2.0.6 might be the last 2.x release.

"they" is prety much DTR and myself. When we see the fixes slow down we'll bust out a 2.0.5a1 so people can get the changes. Changes are still going in so we don't want to give you a version that has more bugs :)

the protocoll will breat with the dev version of 2.1.0 to be released as 2.2.0. We hare in talks about when to break. We had a discussion of a fetture today that would have called for a proto break.

the 2.0.x line will allways be compatable with 2.0.0

we only break on minor/major version changes ( it's one of the things that defines the version change ).

there is now
