I had a DICKENS of a time getting it to build. I finally replaced both Accelerate.framework and AGL.framework with copies from a base Tiger install... i.e. one with no updates run on it. Something I had either updated or installed broke both those system libraries such that neither the SDL library nor BZflag wanted to build. Odd... only Apple's own installers are supposed to touch anything in /System/Library/...
But I finally did succeed! I'm not sure what might be different about my build than the "official" -- aside from this one comes with no garantees.
http://homepage.mac.com/jerde/BZFlag-2.0.6.app.zip 11.5MB
There's a bi-monthly 5GB bandwidth cap -- good for about 440 downloads. After that's used up, try:

No cap on them, but I have NO idea how upset they get for big downloads.
Cheers!

I can make a package installer in a disk image but first I need some info to give to packagemaker
1.) Title
2.) Description
3.) Root (whatever it means in this case) (Should it be the same as installation directory wich is /applications/) (Do i need admin confirmation for installing in /applications/?)
4.) Background for installer
5.) Welcome to installer text
6.) Readme file
7.) License file
8.) Identifier (ex: com.apple.packagemaker)
9.) Get Info string (ex: 2.0, Copyright © 2004 Apple Computer, inc.)

Just d/l'd what I assume is the "official" version and it crashed on startup in 10.3.8.
The crash report shows Link (dyld) errors: undefined references to "_asinf" and "_atanf" expected to be defined in libSystem.B.dylib

Why do we need an installer?
On mac you just drag ONE SINGLE icon to the applications folder.
