It looks great. I dig the grey background, it makes the whole thing looks really clean.

Its black.... turn up the contrast on your screen. wait, i need to turn mine down, it is grey... :E
I like things inside of shapes that are above the background. I really dislike sites that are just text on background. IMHO the grey makes it look dirty. Maybe make it a lighter shade of grey? like #EBEBEB? (maybe thats too light for the white text.. maybe #BBBBBB?)

I think both colors look fine. The monochromatic scheme is easy to adjust.
