Need help with a script

Post by Legolas_ » Tue Aug 14, 2007 2:19 am

Hi guys,

I am looking for some code for finding where certain players are. (Not all players only a few of them). A simple example is : MyBZBuddies from Bzstats.strayer.de that would be perfect, a list of 20 or so names and if they are on, it says underneath them what server and if they are not it just says "offline". If anyone can point me in the right direction, or if they have code like this, I would really appreciate it.

Thanks

Those sites query servers on a regular basis and obtains their player list. It then stores that in a database, and has a front-end in a web scripting language. There isn't any code to quickly find that information. However, there is an RSS feed from my.bzflag.org of current players that you could cache and parse with a third-party web service or application.
