Levelzone down for good...I think....

Levelzone is down again because my host changed servers again. And if you can read that you must have a much better monitor than mine.

It was my old site for downloading levels for Shogo and Bzflag...it was a little mapping site...I may restore it under a different domain with a more stable server

Why not host it from your computer? A website doesnt require much bandwidth.

HA! On dialup? You're kidding, right?

Besides, I don't get 24/7 internet/phone access.

www.stayhosted.com is really good. I've had them for a year and host 2 sites with them. A+ tech support. A+ uptime and relibility.

I assume you use "shared hosting"?

Oh wow, only 1.95...which package do you use? Is 5 gb monthly bandwith enough?

Yes, shared hosting is for normal people. I use the $5 a month plan, just 'cause i thought $1 a month wasn't enough to pay somebody for a website :).

Okay, i just deleted the faulty levelzone.orgfree.com domain.

If anyone wants to register that, go to orgfree.com and sign up. I wold use a differnt host though, they have switched servers 4 times in 3 months.

Don't worry. Levelzone shall live another day...when I sign up with stayhosted.

RPG, do they provide a domain/subdomain, or do you have to get one? Oh wait, thats the "Unlimited subdomain"...thats so awsome.

You have to buy a domain name with you register with most modern paid hosts. Which means you have to buy www.levelzone.com from a registrar like GoDaddy. What "unlimited subdomains" means is that you can have an unlimited number of subdomains under levelzone.com , such as rpgisawesome.levelzone.com , or mypersonalpage.levelzone.com .

I did a lot of research on which web hosts and domain registrars were the cheapest with the most features, so I don't think you're gonna find anything that costs less and is the same value of GoDaddy and StayHosted.
