I was curious to see what style map would occur if I took the placements/elements from the existing Mad City and modified them.
This is a 0.1 version of this map. The transporter links are set, but could probably use refinement.
This map is essentially MadCity, so any credit has to go to the group that has worked the map over time......any fault is mine.
Have made several updates to the map, including exploits for the new 1.9 map interpretation. NOW BULLETS REFLECT DOWN

Modified Mad City
I've always loved the (newer) Mad City map, and it's great to
see it changed a bit.
When I first looked at it, I didn't recognize it! Then,
when I got oriented, it made sense. I can see a number of new interesting areas, such as the new tower/teleporter stuff, and the major masses having internal structure. I think there's a lot of neat new stuff in there, but it isn't overly complex by any means.
I think it'd be great to play; let me know if it gets hosted anywhere.

I have made several modifications to the first cut. I am using this map primarly to figure out some of the new mapping constructs in 1.9. SO, if you want to see the map changes you will need to run a 1.9 server, since bzedit does not support the 1.9 constructs as of yet.

It plays well too
I've seen this hosted recently, and I enjoy playing on it a bit, probably a quite a bit more than the original madcity. I hope it gets "discovered" and is populated on a regular basis.
