Name: War of the world (weapons)
Style: CTF Red v Blue

If your going to host it you will have to make a configuration file, just a standard one like at vipers 2 castles would be good.

This is a map that I made in about 1 day. This is my first map with world weapons, and also it has death physics. In the map, it has a box on the floor in the middle of each teams side that fills with lasers every 3 seconds, this would be a good place to drop your team flag because it is hard to get, but it is possible, also you can lead an enemy through there in the chance that he/she might get fried. And there are only two routes to get to the either side of the map, both you have to be careful with when using because world weapons are in them.

I would like to thank charg for his web page that taught me how to test my maps, also the good people on #bzflag and #bzchat for their help, (especially CannonBallGuy).

Feel free to edit, host or do what ever you want to the map. Here are some screen shots.

When starting the map the map I got this:

What does that mean?

Some of the world weapons seemed as though they weren't working properly too. The lasers for example, they had a really short fire range. Wouldn't even make it from one side of the ground box to the other. Might just be me, anyone else having these issues?

Peter: It looks good.
The warnings Grace posted are occuring because you have three identical physics drivers called "dead" in your code.
You seem to have done this to apply it to three objects - no need.
You can apply one physics driver to as many objects as you like.

As for the lasers not working right, perhaps you need to turn ricochet on and/or set some server variables.

Yea, well I didn't have rico on, but the laser wasn't even going far enough to even be able to do that.

Perhaps fiddle with the _laserAdVel, _laserAdRate and _laserAdLife vars.

i like it. several creative ideas. and it's weird that the laser would be really short without you have making any changes. maybe you borrowed a conf from another map that had laser life set shorter?? any way there are minor things i would change like the color of the world weapons. the green should be on the green side and the other on the other side. or they should all just be rouge. also the world weapons get annoying after a while but ... what are you to do that's what world weapons are. but i like the creativity with the "laser patch" :P

ooh, that green laser grid in the screenie looks like some kind of trampoline of death
