SirIchBeenCool's X-Treme

Post by SirIchBeenCool »

This is a simple map i made up in a min or two.....
Anyone can take it just tell me about it VIA PM's.
Thank you and enjoy!

this map could either be a GU style, or as i configured it a map with 3 of each good flags....
If it's not too much trouble I would appreciate it if anyone who hosts this map lets me know so I can see it in action, that'd be great.

Could you please post some screen shots?

Why should we have to fix the problems with configuring? Just ask how to.

The problem was you forgot to add "end" after your options in the bzw.

You put:

Code: Select all

options

   +r

   -j

   -ms 10

   -a 10 10

   +f good{3}

When it should be:

Code: Select all

options

   +r

   -j

   -ms 10

   -a 10 10

   +f good{3}

end

Its Good looking map but not a GU map. GU is Hix and I don't think they want any other map for it. But all in all its ok.

MOST screenshots are not that big of files ducktape and sir. You can easily export them into jpeg (.jpg) and post them here. That should optimize them to less than 1 MB.
Use the Search and Edit buttons as your question may have already been answered/posted.

I kinda agree with silver surfer, its a bit empty.. but all in all, it looks okay
Humor helps us to think out of the box. The average child laughs about 400 times per day, the average adult laughs only 15 times per day. What happened to the other 385 laughs?

Here's a screenshot.

It is a little open, but that could be fixed easily with fourish (or more) objects on each team's segmented base area if you wanted to. For 3 shots, ricochet, and jumping, it looks very tolerable, and even fun! :p my suggestion is add some more blocks (I recommend 15x15 or 20x20 at least) to each side, or maybe some pyramids. This would make more places to jump to, hide, ricochet, etc. It isn't bad, however.

One question: The walkways along the map's edge (to reach base) are one unit higher than the walkways going diagonal (crissy-crossy) in the middle. This means, with your settings, you have to jump to reach the walkway to go toward the base. Is this how you wanted it? If you don't want to change the object heights you could try setting the variable _maxBumpHeight to 1.1.
