Are the box textures your local image in your data folder or an image thats with the map?

Well, first off, 4 pictures are usually more than enough, and keeping them as an attachment is a good idea.

Number two, if you include the map file, hosters might be more willing to host because they can get a better look at the map by running themselves instead of looking at some..eh, not very good quality pictures.

Three, it looks like you have an issue with a teleporter (7th Picture). Keep X smaller than the border, so it doesn't stick out like that.

Fourth, if this is your first map, you've done a good job. There are some open areas, which make good space for fighting. You might want to add a few more teleporters to make it easier to go from the top level to the bottom. Is it a free-for-all? I couldn't tell from the pictures.

And finally, remember that hosters don't just host maps because there is one they can host; hosting costs money, and they wouldn't like to pay for something they knew wouldn't get played on. I'm not saying that your map isn't going to get hosted, but it's a better idea just to post the map, and let the hosters decide for themselves whether or not they want to put it up.

My two cents.

There really isn't a "host on demand" service... I would recommend you either post your map so it's available to look at, or go ask someone if they can provide hosting.

you don't have to post your conf file ( it isn't valid for anything other then your computer anyway )

You can add the flag and shot related things to the map, then anyone who chooses to use this map on there server will have the shot and flag settings you intended, but there own server setup for the rest of it.

look at using the options object

Also, when taking screenshots of your map, it's usually good to be in Observer mode. That way you can take some from a better perspective.
In order to move around freely while your in observer mode, hit F8 until you get the option "Roaming". You can use shift+up/down to move up or down and control+up/down to change the angle. Use all the arrow keys to move forwards, backwards, left, right.
Once you think you've got a good position for the screenshot, be sure to remove all GUI options. Assuming you haven't changed these settings, you can toggle the console with "w" and the scoreboard with "s". Usually it's fine to leave the radar, because it lets us see if the map is, say, symmetrical or similar things. And as others have said, attach the screenshots as attachments or you can upload your screenshot to an image hoster, like http://imageshack.us/ and post the link.

Now to your map. From what I could see it looks pretty big. In my opinion, it's always easier for a beginner to start making something small and trivial and bring it to perfection than something huge and complex. Good work so far, considering it's your first map.

This is an old post about "Getting your map hosted": http://mybzflag.net/?p=259#more-259

I think what you did was make a private server from the looks of it. If you want to know how to get your map on the public list, i suggest that you either go to my.bzflag.org/w or contact one of the many hosts, via private message, that enjoy hosting other people's maps. here are a few of the hosts that I can think of off the top of my mind right now:
-ahs3
-Constitution
-Cruel Dog
-NN
-Winny
A few of these hosts are selective about which maps they will and will not host. Also, I noticed from the Screen Capture that when you were trying to set up your private server (which you wanted public) it gave you a bunch of options that bzfs can be used for. This usually occurs (for me at least) when you have a slight error in the format of your map file. I suggest going through your map file and looking to see if there are any capitalized letters other than ones in your options command, or even possibly IN your options command. Then it might work. And if you want to test your map, and you've done the format right and typed in all of that good stuff into the cmd prompt, open a bzflag browser and where it says server type in: localhost
port: 5154
This should enable you to test your map privately, meaning no one besides you can join.
Hope that helps! :)
