So, I spent about 3 days making this 2-team CTF map. I then tied to host it; I got quite a few players but they all found the lag too annoying (I can't blame them, I have cheap Cable). They all seemed to enjoy this map though...

That's sad, so just get an internet line with faster upload-speed

Anyway, what do you implicate?
(Are you "giving away" your map for us as you anyway can't really host it?
Or do you want someone to host your map?
Or ...?)

And add a map-license: http://my.bzflag.org/bb/viewtopic.php?t=10575

I suggest to add another screenshot, but this time from bird-perspective, as on the current screenshot I first can't really estimate whether the map has more objects outside the boundaries of the screenshot, and secondly I can't really imagine how the EXACT map constellation is from this non-bird-view.

Sorry, I wasn't clear. I live about a mile further than DSL will reach, so I pay $50 USD for 129kbps-ip/512kbps-down Cable internet; I might upgrade to 1mbps-down, but cannot afford to get a faster upload speed.

I am releasing this as Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial-Share Alike 3.0 http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/3.0/us/ , and am looking for a host who wants to try a new map; this was my first complete map, made completely in ibzedit.

Never used iBzedit, but would be a bit wondering if this tool hasn't the option to change camera-view-perspective.

Observer mode:
If you know how to start an own bzflag-server, then you simply join as observer on your map, and with the according keys you can change your view-perspective.
F5 saves screenshots in-game.

Edit:The forum search is your friend, too. Observer keys:

It's not bad. It's a little open in the area between the center structure and the bases. Maybe add some defense around the bases (pyramids, blocks, etc).
