ZAP:PING BIG v2.0

a complete work-over from the previous zap:ping map after some great input from players!
unfortunately the KotH version was not very successful and the demand for a CTF map made me sit, analyze, think and working hard to come up with a good concept ....
i believe the first zap:ping map had some potential but the bases were not adapted to a CTF version! so i tried to build them in a way that how you approach them with the flag allows some tactics and team-play to be fun!
trying to get the flag and to defend it should leave lots of possibilities and also the way you bring it home should be challenging in many ways. making it not to easy to capture the flag, so that a chance to save it is given, but differnt ways to get to the top to ask for smart attacks.
the center has also improved with the overall goal that there is no hiding spot on the map. with some skill and experience you'll find out that you can reach with smart rico-shots every opponent trying to hide....

well just try it and any constructive criticism is highly welcomed!!!

You should put up a 4 Team CTF. Might attract more players. maybe not.

Wow, this is a nice and well-thought-out map. Even though it seems a bit cluttery, it actually has a nice combination of open spaces and ricos. Good work.

The only real comment I have is that the walls around the edge ricochet, even above the colored parts. This could pose a problem, especially if there's laser and whatnot.

This map, and all of the others like it that zaphod made are very well thought out and pretty fun.

such a great map and so little playing on it!
players don't know what they miss!
shame for this great map well thought out!!
should be on top of the list all the time ;-)

very encouraging your input !!!

made some tiny modifications to the map:
- center and base supports are now octagon's
- pyra's around bases are turned slightly for reaching up better

all to improve the rico effects !!! nowhere to hide ;-)

do you think the map needs tele-porters?
