A lot of LouMan's maps are over 1MB. Home Sweet Home for instance is 2.7 MB and 107,106 lines long. I could get the filesize a bit smaller if I grouped some things instead of making multiple meshs, but that's a lot of effort for just a few seconds of loading time.

Whoa, 2.7mb? Mine are like 20kb...But mine are simple maps and, well, these have mesh and other amazing stuff.

Too bad I saw this too late, I was preparing a goodbye paragraph in my mind already :D . Guess I'll save it.

Very cool map, I love the chopper and spot light. Funny server messages but one of them I only see part of on the top of the screen because it is so long. :lol-old:

Good work!

I'm adding this to my database of maps to get other friends of mine interested in BZ with. ;)
And the lesson for tonight is:

Never underestimate the ability of a newb to expect instant success and cry "cheat!" when they don't get it. Don't hate the newb, just give them plenty of learning opportunities. ;)

nice map... exept... that's not real russian lettering there. yes, it's russian alphabet, but no "words" as such
don't worry about it too much though :P

Actually, I searched google images for 'russian ammo crate' and tried to copy down the lettering. It was pretty tough hunting and pecking to find the right key and I did make up a few random military abbreviations.

Try looking at this image as compared to my texture. The main words look pretty close to me. I was getting tired of that by the second texture though, so I think I did just make up stuff. Hopefully I didn't cuss out any Russians ;)

As for the propaganda texture, that was supposed to be readable in English. :)

The only reason I fell for it is because you didn't post on april fools day, at least not for me.
