Hive Battle

Post by Crallion »

Hive Battle is a two team CTF based very loosely on a bee hive. It really isn't, but my original idea was to create a bee hive, and this is how it turned out...

Basically, everybody has wings. The gravity is stronger so that it is easier to navigate through the small nooks and crannies of the hive modules. A tall tower at the center of the map just adds some extra strategy. The central tower also includes my first DI object!!!

If you fall down around the edges, you die. The pyramids around the edges were more of an afterthought to take up some of the bareness around the edges.

Anyway, here are some screen shots. Hope you like it...

I gotta say, that is really nice. I like the hive cones and how you can "tunnel" around the hive part. I think this will make for a very interesting CTF map, good work :)

I think this is brilliant! The construction of the hive itself is very interesting and complex. I also like the tower, because it brings in the "normal" side of BZFlag.

Very, very interesting, but great job. Cant wait!

hmmmm, I tried to upload the bzw but apparently my bzw file is too big. I'll try to zip it, but if anyone has any other ideas on how to upload a file with these darn size restrictions, tell me.

EDIT: Here is the zipped bzw of "Hive Battle"
