The River Rampage is a two team CTF, Red vs Green, 15 players per team.

You must cross the river using the bridges provided, in the corners is a small spot where you can camp and laser the opposing team while the rest of your team charges into their base.

The bases are protected by 3 drive through walls to prevent spawn camping.

You can play the map at BZTraining.org port 5201

Any comments or suggestions are welcome through either /report or just post here.

I like it, lots of water... maybe a little too much? I don't know, your map, imo, its nice to be able to maneuver a lot, without the fear off falling into water every time you jump at an angle.

P.S. Are <b>all</b> of the textures from your client?

All but the water texture is my client.

It's a nice map, simple but well laid out. I do think Crallion is right about the water though, especially since some of the spawn points seem to be on the bridges themselves - I could see a few accidental (and frustrating) suicides when the server is busy. Having a few pyramids close to the team flags is good though, flag passing options always improve CTF maps

The spawn zones are only for where the flags are.

Thanks, I am going to be updating the map more and more, I would like to see what the game-play is like first. I may add some more spawn and flag zones, maybe in the corner huts. I am thinking about adding a pyramid in the spaces where the water is, I still want people to have to worry about falling in.

More playing area than I had first expected by looking at the pics. Better playing it than looking at pictures of it.

yes it's been a long time I used the map editor but do not worry, I will not make a huge map that "overdoze "!
