Fun Park

Post by ahs3 »

Fun Park is a map that works well as a FFA and Rabbit Hunt.

Fun Park :: FFA is up at bzbattleground.com:5468

Fun Park :: Rabbit Hunt is up bzbattleground.com:4605

Let me know what you think.

This map is really well thought out, as many bzbg maps are.
But for my taste, everything is a bit to close for me.
Other than that, great job.

We used to see a lot more maps of this type, with varied object types scattered at seemingly random places around the map area. They can be a lot of fun to learn the best areas to be in, and the ricochets. I like this map a lot.
Take a look at my Defender game mode concept.

Thinking is not an automatic process. A man can choose to think or to let his mind stagnate, or he can choose actively to turn against his intelligence, to evade his knowledge, to subvert his reason. If he refuses to think, he courts disaster: he cannot with impunity reject his means of perceiving reality.

I played around a little bit on a localhost server (ran bzfs, ran bzflag and connected to localhost). I think this is a great map. Battles should be quite epic on this map... Runs quite smooth, but on the bridge things my computer lags some, but it's still playable.

Neat map, as always. I like to see maps like these again, FFA has struggled a little bit in the community lately.

Wasn't sure how it'd play, but it's addicting! Way to go as always!
